Concepts inREDUCE usage for calculation of low-energy process amplitudes in chiral QCD model

Quantum chromodynamics

In theoretical physics, quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is a theory of the strong interaction, a fundamental force describing the interactions between quarks and gluons which make up hadrons. It is the study of the SU(3) Yang¿Mills theory of color-charged fermions (the quarks). QCD is a quantum field theory of a special kind called a non-abelian gauge theory, consisting of a 'color field' mediated by a set of exchange particles (the gluons).

Calculation

A calculation is a deliberate process for transforming one or more inputs into one or more results, with variable change. The term is used in a variety of senses, from the very definite arithmetical calculation of using an algorithm to the vague heuristics of calculating a strategy in a competition or calculating the chance of a successful relationship between two people. For example, multiplying 7 by 8 is a simple algorithmic calculation.

Computer simulation

A computer simulation, a computer model, or a computational model is a computer program, or network of computers, that attempts to simulate an abstract model of a particular system. Computer simulations have become a useful part of mathematical modeling of many natural systems in physics, astrophysics, chemistry and biology, human systems in economics, psychology, social science, and engineering. Simulation of a system is represented as the running of the system's model.
