ABSTRACT
Human have the dexterous fingers because of many muscle actuators in the forearm that are used for communications, playing and so on. If a device can control human hands, the device can be useful for HCI(Human-Computer Interface) application's output.

PossessedHand: techniques for controlling human hands using electrical muscles stimuli
CHI '11: Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing SystemsIf a device can control human hands, the device can be useful for HCI and tangible application's output. To aid the controlling of finger movement, we present PossessedHand, a device with a forearm belt that can inform when and which fingers should be ...
PossessedHand: a hand gesture manipulation system using electrical stimuli
AH '10: Proceedings of the 1st Augmented Human International ConferenceAcquiring knowledge about the timing and speed of hand gestures is important to learn physical skills, such as playing musical instruments, performing arts, and making handicrafts. However, it is difficult to use devices that dynamically and ...
PossessedHand: Controlling Hand Movements with Computer Output
A prototype HCI system demonstrates the effectiveness of using computer-generated electrical stimulation to control muscles.
