Published:28 July 2019Publication History

ABSTRACT

Xploro is an educational game for iOS which combines augmented-reality (AR) technology and spatial computing multi-user game-play mechanics. It was created by the UTS Animal Logic Academy (UT-SALA) 2018 cohort to educate children aged 8--12 in a fun and social way. Xploro uses emerging augmented reality technology to create the hide and seek fun of "Wheres Wally" alongside educational aspects similar to "Carmen Sandiego".
