The ACM curriculum recommendations and those of other societies are written with an abstract collegiate environment in mind. There is, however, considerable variance among schools both with regard to their objectives and their resources. The panel representing a spectrum of teaching situations will lead a discussion as to how society recommendations can be of use in curriculum planning.
