Abstract

In 2019 the Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems - IHC - is completing 21 years since its first edition in 1998, in Maringá, PR. Since then the event has grown, supported the HCI community in Brazil and consolidated itself as the leading national HCI conference in Brazil, that brings together researchers, practitioners, educators, and students for discussing state-of-the-art works in both academia and practice. It encourages and fosters collaboration across groups, disciplines, and geographical regions. IHC is promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society ( Sociedade Brasileira de Computação - SBC), through its Special Committee on HCI (CEIHC).
